As a Councillor member, it is not possible to transfer any previous pension rights into the LGPS from any other pension scheme or another LGPS Fund.
If you have deferred pension rights relating to membership as a Councillor within the Gwynedd Pension Fund, you will have the option of combining this with your current active membership.
A request to combine your benefits must be made within the first 12 months of re-joining the scheme. Contact us as soon as possible.
